The main material choice is plastics

DecMecs is designed with plastics as the primary material as its properties are better than steel for the application of water tracking. Due to plastics lightweight nature, corrosion resistance, and ease of molding into complex shapes, are especially advantageous in remote areas where reduced weight simplifies transport and installation.

Thermal and UV stress 

Plastics, particularly regarding UV degradation and thermal stress,these factors are addressed through innovative material designs and protective measures before deployment. We tests this with research partners from Danish universities and laboratories.
